The 39th annual CORK Regatta Series began this past weekend out of Portsmouth Olympic Harbour.  Offshore CORK was the first championship to be held- and there is no doubt that great racing was enjoyed by all!

During Offshore CORK, held August 7-10, close to fifty boats and over a hundred sailors raced in 9 divisions.  Intense competition was observed across Lake Ontario as sailors strived to win their respective events.  Top results of boats competing  in the fleet racing were as follows:

Offshore Overall

The Martin 16, which is a sailboat for persons with a disability, had 17 athletes race on Saturday and Sunday  striving to claim the Ontario Championships.  These sailors enjoyed not only the racing, but the training camp held for two days prior.
