More than 600 sailors competed this past week at Kingston’s internationally recognized CORK Series 1 regatta.  During this premiere competition, nine different fleets battled on five courses in a variety of wind strengths and directions.  Sailors raced hard with titles up for grabs including the North American Championships for the 470, Byte, CII, Laser 2, and 29er classes.  This regatta also serves as an ISAF Grade 1 ranking competition for the Laser and Laser Radial Olympic classes.  The CORK Regatta is made possible with the generous support of our sponsors and suppliers. Key partners include; Canadian Heritage -Sport Canada, the Ontario Ministry of Health Promotion and the City of Kingston.
