2019 will be an exciting year for CORK/Sail Kingston and the sailing community!
The City of Kingston and Portsmouth Olympic Harbour will once again be filled with athletes from around the world! The International Laser Class Association has awarded CORK (Canadian Olympic training Regatta Kingston) both the 2019 International Laser Class Association ILCA Laser Radial Youth World Championship and 2019 ILCA Laser 4.7 Youth World Championships.
“The International Laser Class Association is excited about returning to Kingston in 2019. With two major youth World Championships on tap next summer, you will be seeing the future of sailing. CORK has previously hosted several World Championships for the Laser Class, most recently in 2015, and we know they can be counted on to put together a well organized event both on the water and on shore. Kingston is a welcoming city and we look forward to a friendly reception for the sailors who will be coming from around the world to crown new champions.”
