240 athletes, 4 countries and several provinces are competing at Portsmouth Olympic Harbour this weekend.

The first day of the fall regatta felt more like July with the humidex in low 30s.  Races were delayed in starting due to very light wind.  When the wind came it was champagne conditions: 8-12 knots throughout the afternoon.

The Optimist, C 420, Laser and Radial fleets completed 3 races as scheduled.  The i420’s completed 4 races, the 49er FX and the 29ers completed 5 races.
